No Surprises here Chicago named Most Beautiful City in the USA
A list has come out of the Most Beautiful Cities in the US and not surprising Chicago is number one, but the rest of the list is very interesting.
A website called thetealmango.com has come out with an article that lists the 15 Most Beautiful Cities in the US, and it should come as no surprise to anyone that Chicago is number one on that list. Chicago is stunning, with the over 120 skyscrapers, the Chicago River slicing through the downtown, dozens and dozens of bridges, and of course the magnificent Lake Michigan shoreline there is so much beauty in the Second City. On the website, they say this about Chicago...
"The buildings of the city carry rich heritage dating back to the 1920s Al Capone era. One can head to the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower to have a panoramic view of the urban beauty."
Now as far as the rest of the list goes you'd expect to see cities like NYC, LA, Houston, Atlanta, and other big cities near the top of the list BUT Chicago is the only major American metropolitan city in the top ten. After Chicago, it is Seattle, Honolulu, Telluride in Colorado, Savannah in Georgia, Salt Lake City, and other smaller cities, to see the full list for yourself just click here!
I much prefer Chicago to cities like LA, and NYC, but I do think those cities have a level of beauty, to see them both completely left off the list is a little surprising, I do love that this list gives love to cities like Madison, Wisconsin, and Lincoln, Nebraska. Which city do you think is the most beautiful in the US?
