My Hero, Speed Racer

I can honestly say that if you like my radio show, you can thank the Speed Racer cartoon. And, if you can't stand me, it's all Speed Racer's fault. I owe a lot of who I am to Speed Racer. I watched it constantly when I was a kid and now that I'm an adult, I wear very embarrassing-for-my-age Speed Racer t-shirts.

I think my favorite Speed Racer episode was the one about the Mammoth Car. It was basically Speed Racer trying to beat...um...a Mammoth Car. Behold.

No, I've changed my mind.  Best episode was Speed Racer and the Car Acrobatic Team.  I think the episode was called "The Most Dangerous Race".  The best driver for the Car Acrobatic Team was "Snake Oiler".  If I were going to legally change my name, I'd change it to "Snake Oiler".

I know this generation watches crap like Jersey Shore.  Too bad.  They'd be better off if they learned about the greatness of Speed Racer.  I know where they can get some cool t-shirts if they do.
