Most Pet-Friendly City In The U.S.? One Is In Missouri
Owning a pet is so rewarding and some cities are considered the friendliest to all pets.
Trying to find a four-legged friend can be tricky, but when you find a new companion it's a love match. Or at least that what is was when I found Max and Luna. There is one city among ten of the best cities to own a dog.
Missouri City for Owning a Dog
From areas to walk your companion, run, or dog-friendly restaurants St. Louis is that city for Missouri. WalletHub looked at 100 large cities that looked at veterinarian costs, businesses that cater to pet needs, and exercise and St. Louis came in at 10.
I see dogs all the time when in St. Louis and especially in Chicago which surprisingly comes in at 90 on the list. I wouldn't have thought it would be in the top 20 definitely in the top 10. With all the beaches, and access to exercise I would imagine Chicago would be higher on the list but it's not.

We went to a dog beach when we visited once and I found so many dogs I wanted. It's such a happy place to watch people interact with their four-legged friends. Quincy and Hannibal are pet-friendly as well. Plenty of parks, trails, vets, and dog-friendly restaurants.
If you are looking for a new friend of the family always consider the Quincy Humane Society or the Northeast Missouri Humane Society
