MLB Allows Fans, But…
There will be restrictions, will it stop you from wanting to go to a game this year?

According to fox4kc.com the MLB will be allowing fans into the stands for the upcoming baseball season, after going without fans for the 60 game COVID-19 shortened 2020 season last year. In the article (to read the entire article click here) they say...
"Major League Baseball announced on Feb. 1 that the season will start on time, and a limited number of fans will be allowed in the stands for games starting at Spring Training...Anyone going to a game this upcoming season will not need a COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination or even a temperature check. However, they will have to sit at least six feet apart from others and wear masks unless eating or drinking. There will also be a buffer zone around dugout, meaning no fans in first three rows unless a team puts up Plexiglas."
These restrictions are to be expected, and are fairly in line with what we have seen from the NFL, College Football, and now the NBA, where social distancing and mask wearing (when not eating or drinking) are the main restrictions. I do think it will be interesting to see if ALL MLB cities allow this to start the year, I could see cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles not allowing fans right away. But at least we know if you're not allowed that is a city decision NOT an MLB decision. Will you be going to a baseball game this year despite the restrictions?
