Marshfield, Missouri is home to the Show-Me States' largest festival for Cherry Blossom trees. Each year celebrities come to this festival to see the majestic trees that bloom for a short time each spring. This year's festival will take place from April 27th through the 30th.

The Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield, MO is an annual three-day event in the spring that celebrates the city of Marshfield and the state of Missouri.  Activities are varied and are scheduled throughout the event.  There are opportunities for vendors to sell and customers to buy crafts, food, books and many other wonderful things.

The festival starts with a tribute to veterans, a breakfast at the Son-Rise Chictsitan Church, and many events throughout the festival. Some of the events include:

  • Cherry Blossom Square Dance
  • Cherry Blossom Street Dance
  • Cherry Pie Eating Contest

I have never seen a Cherry Blossom Tree up close so how cool would it be to go and see all of these trees in full bloom? Just think of the photo ops you will have, and I wonder if the trees smell amazing. Marshfield is located just Northeast of Springfield Missouri.
