The 6th annual event celebrated fire, police, EMS units, and 9-1-1 dispatchers for all the hard work they due to keep our community safe. It's a day filled with family-fun activities for the entire family.

The event will feature Emergency Services equipment on display from 2 pm until 4 pm, Quincy Police Department’s K-9 presentation at 3 pm, face painting, and local live entertainment throughout the day. Local band  Pepper Spray will perform from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Food will be provided by Hy-Vee Grill for purchase purchase from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and TCBY will also be onsite during the event.

Everyone coming to the event is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and beverages and enjoy an evening with our local Emergency Services Personnel. Also, if you work for QPD, QFD, Tri-Township FD, Adams CO EMS, Adams CO 911 Dispatch, Adams CO Sheriff’s Dept., and Il State Police show your ID to receive a free meal for you and your immediate family.

This is one of those events to show your young children that firemen and police are safe and friendly and teach them that if they are ever in trouble approach an officer for help.
