Missouri's Best handed out the award for the Best German Restaurant in Missouri this year to the one and only The German Table in Cole Camp, Missouri! Never heard of Cole Camp, Missouri? We haven't either, but according to Google Maps, it is located south of Sedalia, Missouri right in the center of the state. So what makes The German Table the best of the best for German food in the Show-Me State, on their website they say...

"All the items we serve are made as close to the German recipes as possible. Over the years we have tweaked the old ones and added new ones to the menu. All menu items are made right here in the restaurant. Saturday evenings we have a "special" menu item. On the first Saturday of the month we have Sauerbraten, the third Saturday Rouladen. (subject to change)  We offer a good selection of German beers and wines...The German Table has been in operation since March 2012."

So what is on the menu? They have items like the Schnitzel Sandwich, the Fried Bologna Sandwich, the Knackwurst, the Jagerschnitzel, Spatzle, German Potatoe Salad, multiple authentic German beers, and even some Black Forrest Cake for dessert!
