According to HGTV, nine homes were picked from thousands of entries to be some of the best in the nation. One of those nine is located in Missouri.

The scariest House is in Missouri

Spooky season is officially upon us and HGTV has been hunting for the scariest haunted house in the nation. It might look like a normal-looking house like all the others on the street, but this particle house in Brumley, Missouri has a dark secret.

It's Haunted

In the episode host Retta travels the USA looking for the scariest home in the nation. In every episode, the current owner of each house tells tales of hauntings, the history of the house, and why they should win the $150,000 renovation prize.

The house in Missouri is known as the House of the Ghost Geiger, and the current owners have no doubt in their minds that the place is haunted, There are four known deaths from previous owners, and many have been discovered on the land in which the house sits.

Brumley is part of the Lake of the Ozarks and I am convinced that the whole area surrounding the lake and everything in between is haunted. The episode about the House of the Ghost Geiger will air this Friday, October 11 on HGTV. So you can see for yourself how haunted this place really is!
