When you go to a St. Louis Cardinals game at Busch Stadium you are welcomed to “Baseball Heaven”. There is some truth in that claim if you love the game, and especially the Cardinals.

Approximately 250 miles southwest of the Gateway city on I-44 (and then a jog south) is Branson’s “Ballparks of America”. For kids who love to play the game, Ballparks of America is baseball heaven and it’s pretty clear why.

At the complex there are five 2/3 scale versions of some of MLB’s iconic parks present and past, including Busch Stadium. And yes, the kids can play on the field. Real games. In addition to Busch Stadium there are 2/3 scale versions of Kauffman Field of the Kansas City Royals, The Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field, Boston Red Sox legendary Fenway Park, and Ebbets Field too, the iconic home to the Brooklyn Dodgers.

The immersive experience goes beyond the fields. The locker rooms are far beyond what any amateur player could imagine getting ready in. The complex is nestled right in the midst of all the traditional family outings and also includes on site amenities and fun for teammates too.

There are tournaments with teams from all over the nation (and world) that gather for a singular experience, that could only be paralleled by becoming a big league player (and also have a time machine)

Ballparks of America seems like it would be a repeatable venture as there are other historic baseball parks that come to mind: Yankee Stadium, Dodger Stadium, The Detroit Tigers Comerica park (or even old Tiger Stadium), and Oracle Park where the San Fransisco Giants play are just some.

If you love baseball and/or, have a kid that loves baseball don’t miss out on Ballparks of America in Branson, Mo….Then make sure to take in a Springfield Cardinals game at Hammons Field.
