The Missouri Festival Where Apples Rule the Weekend
The tiny hamlet of Weston, Missouri has built and holds an outsized Apple Fest each fall that welcomes over ten times the town’s population for the weekend.
Little town - Big personality - Bigger event
This year is the 37th edition of Weston’s Apple Fest, and a visit is in order. Nestled between Kansas City and St. Joseph, Missouri along the Missouri river is a slice of Americana, complete with a charismatic downtown scene that looks like Norman Rockwell painted it into existence.
Many of the events for Apple fest will occur downtown
The parade through downtown Weston starting at 10 a.m. is the catalyst for all the other festivities, including music, arts and crafts, and of course apple-centric treats. There will be many food vendors with varied flavors to try.

Apple dumplings, apple cider, apple butter, apple pies and who knows, maybe apple cake, apple chips, caramel apples and other apple surprises. There will also be demonstrations on making apple butter. Perfect for a family outing to lean into the fall season.
At Opposite ends of Weston are Weston Orchard and Holladay Distillery
Sip, Sample, and Celebrate Missouri’s Apple Traditions
For you adults, you’ll also want to make your way to the Historic Weston Orchard and Vineyard, and Holladay Distillers. Missouri apples, ciders, wines, and official Missouri bourbon all folded neatly into the tiny town of Weston, just waiting for you to arrive and celebrate Missouri’s top apple fest.
