Majestic 130-Year Old Church in Illinois Turned into Microbrew
If you are looking for a unique eating and drinking experience you will want to stop by either of the two locations for Obed & Issac's.
Out of the two, there is one that just stands out and that is the Peoria location. The microbrew and restaurant sit in what once was a church in the Peoria area. Built in 1889, the church has been used for several things including events, business offices, group tours, special events, and dance, art, and photography studios.
The church still has all the original stained glass, woodwork, and detail since its opening in 1889. As I said, if you're looking for a unique dining and drinking experience this is defiantly a place you will want to check out.
In 2015 that is when the microbrew opened and has been going strong. Their menu looks amazing from fish & chicken tacos to a midwest favorite horseshoe it seems no matter what you order it will be delicious.

Their second location is a little bit closer to the Tri-States in Springfield and is located in downtown Springfield just steps away from Lincoln's Home.
