Everyone is pitching pennies these days. So going out to eat seems to be a once-now-and-then luxury with the way food prices are increasing. MSN put together a list of the best places to get a cheap breakfast and this St. Louis-based restaurant looks terrific.

Rooster a European-style cafe is known for its late-night special the "slinger."

the "slinger:" two burger patties, hash browns, and eggs (any style) covered with chili over thick-cut toast. The hangover-curing Rooster Slinger replaces burger patties and chili with chunks of andouille sausage and thick sausage gravy.

Yes, please! We are also looking for new places to try and looks like the next time we visit St. Louis we are going to have to take a trip to Rooster. First opened in 2006 to offer breakfast and brunch the popular restaurant has expanded to a few locations throughout St. Louis offering the best seller "the slinger."

The restaurant has burgers, eggs, crepes, sandwiches, and everything in between, and of course the best part AFFORDABLE! Make sure to put this on your restaurant bucket list.
