Get the kids to create a piece of Art for Dad, Father's Day is coming up soon!

Father's Day is just around the corner and it is never easy to shop for dads, dads usually have everything they need, and if they don't have it they just buy it themselves! So don't take the kids shopping at Walmart for the millionth time looking for some generic coffee mug that has camouflage and a funny phrase, have your kids create dad a unique piece of art he can display at his office or in his man cave!

Our friends at Arts Quincy are hosting a Facebook live on Wednesday, June 17th at 10 am to help you instruct your kids on how to make a unique Father's Day gift! They say on their Facebook event page...

"Join Arts Quincy on our Facebook page for live instructional fine arts activities! You'll find a new video that will get your creative juices flowing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10 am!...With Father's Day coming up, we are honoring the dads in our lives with a fun, keepsake art project on Wednesday, June 17."

I think this is so fun! I remember being young and going with my mom and my siblings to pick out gifts for dad, but my some of my favorite memories as a kid were hand making things for my dad. And what's cool is that these are keepsakes that dad can have to hold onto for years to come, not some gift card for Starbucks or something generic.
