When you help the local organizations that are helping others, you really do make a difference. This is a perfect example. Check out pictures today of all the coats the Hannibal Fire Department just donated to local schools and it's all because of everyone that helped them throughout the year.
I reached out to Sean McHargue of the Hannibal Fire Local 1211 who just shared pics of the coats they are in the process of donating to elementary schools. I reached out to him on Facebook and he provided backstory about how those who have helped them make the difference:
The money was raised from events throughout the course of the year like our annual golf tournament and others. We're still getting them dispersed to each elementary school, but all 5 should have coats by the end of the week
