I laughed harder at this than I probably should have, but you might too. It's the state that Missouri is allegedly most similar to. If Missouri had a cousin, I guess this neighboring state would be it.

Disclaimer: I have a lot of friends in this state and they are lovely people. But, I cannot look away from an article by Objective Lists about which states Missouri is most similar to. There's a lot of science at work here. They say the following about their methodology:

I lived on the Kentucky border once about 5 years ago. When I went shopping there, I was the only one without a leg tattoo, not that I'm judging or anything. Again, they are among the most friendly people on Earth and I should probably get a leg tattoo just to fit in better with them. Or, maybe not.

The entire Objective Lists article is a fun read especially the part where Hawaii is least similar to Hawaii. The writer of this article has obviously never been to a Missouri redneck luau BBQ. But, I agree you don't want us wearing grass skirts.
