Lainey Wilson Celebrates Cowgirls in New Wrangler Commercial [Watch]

It's Lainey Wilson's world, we're all just living in it. The 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year wasted no time capitalizing on her status by releasing her next single, "Wildflowers and Wild Horses," and she also stars in a new Wrangler commercial that celebrates cowgirls.

This new song appears on her Bell Bottom Country album, and the country superstar performed it at the 2023 CMA Awards show last week. Now, Wilson and Wrangler have teamed up for a commercial that not only features "Wildflowers and Wild Horses," but also Wilson herself. This is not a minimal role, either; this is a main role in a commercial that runs more than two minutes long.

The new Wrangler commercial starts off with Wilson's song and a cowboy who is getting ready to start working early in the morning on a cold, snowy day. As the whole group starts mounting their horses, Wilson joins in around the 22-second mark, briefly, then at the 25-second mark when her main feature starts.

She appears dressed from head to toe in Wrangler before she mounts up and starts riding around the open land, wrangling the cows. She definitely looks comfortable on a horse, proving she can keep up with any of the men.

As the commercial progresses to the one-minute mark or so, the camera follows Wilson as she's strutting with a guitar in hand. She then stares into the camera as a Wrangler logo pops up that says, "Long Live Cowboys." That flips to "Long Live Cowgirls" as the commercial fades to black.

Wilson dominated the 2023 CMA Awards, winning not only Entertainer of the Year, but also Album and Female Vocalist of the Year. She also shared wins with Hardy for Musical Event and Music Video of the Year for their collaboration on "Wait in the Truck." Wilson will the road for a slate of headlining tour dates in 2024.
