An investigation continues into a pedestrian-train incident late Monday afternoon.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies responded to North 24th Street south of Wismann Lane on a report that a subject walking west along the railroad tracks had been struck by a westbound BNSF train.
The subject was taken to the Blessing Hospital ER with serious injuries.
Assisting deputies were Quincy Police and Fire, Adams County Ambulance and Tri-Township Fire.
