
Illinois NASCAR Driver Flexes at State Capital
The reigning NASCAR Xfinity series champ Justin Allgaier visited the Illinois state capital in Springfield on Tuesday to have a day officially named after him.

No, a day of the week isn’t being relabeled “Justin”. November 9th moving forward will be referred to as Justin Allgaier Day in Illinois.

Allgaier is from Riverton, Illinois and officially won the NASCAR Xfinity Championship last November 9th.

Justin is letting it ride. He is currently atop the Xfinity standings this season with 2 victories and 6 top five finishes, and has a 71 point lead on second place Sam Mayer already. Allgaier finished top ten at Daytona in the NASCAR Cup series.

When Allgaier was 16 he made his semi-pro debut in the ARCA Re/Max series racing at the Illinois State Fairgrounds track in 2003.
