If you like classic car events and rallies like “Early Tin Dusters” and wondered which car would win if they raced, you will be all about The Great Race 2025 where classic cars go head to head, era to era, not in a quarter mile sprint but a cross-country precision endurance race.

There are several different divisions to race in, but the cars all have to be at least 45 years old, and use original factory parts, so after market modifications are forbidden. You also can’t use modern devices like GPS. So, you’ll need a co-pilot navigator. Classic cars and trucks from the 1970s all the way back to over 100 years old will compete.

The divisions are broken down into: Grand Championship – a division for past winners only.  Expert – the most competitive division is for veteran drivers who’ve never won.  Sportsman – a favorite of fans and full of enthusiasts for the vehicles and the race itself.  Rookie- For first time racers in the competition.  X-Cup – Made up of young drivers and teams from high school shop classes usually.
