Superintendent Susan Johnson announced Wednesday that the switch would be made due to a shortage of staff.

Then, Thursday, Governor Parson and Education Director Vandeven announced relaxed regulations for student and staff quarantine after exposure to COVID-19.

Vandeven said that if the person diagnosed with COVID and the person exposed are both wearing masks, the person exposed does not need to quarantine.

The easing of the guidelines means in person learning will continue for students at the Hannibal Middle School.
