The Marion County Health Department and Home Health Agency is once again sponsoring the annual Halloween Parade in Hannibal. The parade will be at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 from Grand Avenue and Broadway to the end of Main Street.

The Marion County Health Department points out that participants will not be allowed to throw candy to the crowd, although treats may be passed out along the parade route. The department asks that all those entering a float only distribute healthy treats such as popcorn, pretzles and granola bars, or Halloween novely items like glow bracelets. All floats and vehicles must be decorated and those participating must be in costume. Line-up will begin at 5:30 at the Save-a-Lot parking lot.

The Marion County Health Department and Home Health Agency can be contacted online, or by phone at 573-221-1166.
