You're out there cooking, having a blast with friends and family, but you need just the right playlist to keep the party going. Obviously, OBVIOUSLY, your first choice is 97.9 KICK-FM. That's a given. But we are admittedly more broad stroke country, not tailored directly to cookouts. In order for the best possible cookout playlist, you have to turn to the Mayor Flavortown himself, Sir Guy of House Fieri, First of His Name:

How great is that playlist? Kick off with a little Hank Jr., some golden classics from Conway, Dolly, and Mel McDaniel, modern classics from Garth, Alan Jackson and Gretchen Wilson, then some new stuff from Lee Brice and Dan + Shay. This 71 track playlist definitely has something for everyone. So bounce this out to your speakers and your party will be hotter than flamin' jalapeño bean dip!

But I will say he did lean into some slower, sadder songs, which is kinda weird. Willie's Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain is one of my favorites, but that has no business being on a cookout playlist. So I guess Guy Fieri's playlist is more of a guideline.

Enjoy!
