The Grace & June Lemon-Aid Stand for Good will take over several locations throughout the Tri-States. These two young ladies are the kindest, most generous little young ladies you will ever meet. They had an idea to do a lemonade stand to help those in need in the community with every single dollar collected going to the Salvation Army. Since starting this a few years ago, they now have friends joining them with 20 stands this year.

With a hefty goal of reaching $10,000, I have no doubt in my mind that these two sisters and their friends will reach that Goal. In fact, last year they had a goal of $6,000 and raised over $8,000 so I have a funny feeling that they will reach their goal. This all started when the girls were on a walk with their parents and saw a need in our community to help those who are less fortunate and over the years the lemonade stands have grown.

Also, you can help kick off the weekend at the first annual adult lemon-aid stand at the Maine Course in Quincy. The event will take place from 7 pm to 9 pm and is another way you can support the kid's lemonade stand where all process will go to the Salvation Army.

So if you're out and about this Saturday please make a donation to the lemonade stand. Check out the map on the Salvation Army's Facebook page with all of the lemon-aid locations.
