Gem City Concert Series Bringing Country and Rock to Quincy Illinois

For the fourth year in a row the Gem City Summer Concert Series will bring live outdoor music to the Quincy Illinois riverfront.  This summer’s events will be back at Lincoln Park on the river Friday July 18^th and Saturday July 19^th.

Traditionally there has been a mix of country and rock music at the Gem City Summer Concert Series and 2025 is no different. Friday night July 18^th Gavin Adcock will headline opening night. The former college football player who leaned into his musical skills following a knee injury has a rock style edge to his songs. A style that has come into favor in country music over the last year plus. His visit to Quincy is in the midst of his appearances on this years “Rock the Country” tour.

Saturday night July 19^th Bret Michaels returns to Quincy Illinois. The legendary voice of the band Poison will bring the party to Quincy. His visits to the Gem City were well received in the past, and with Lincoln Park able to accommodate more people and fans this will be his biggest show in town yet.

More artists will be announced in supporting roles in the coming weeks, but get your crew together from the area, or better yet bring friends and family from afar to spend the weekend in Quincy for the Gem City Summer Concert Series 2025.
