The Hannibal Pirates will open their 2014 football season on the road at MICDS High School in St. Louis. The start time of that game has been moved due to extreme heat forecast for Saturday. Saturday's game was originally scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., but will now start at 10 a.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for much of the state, from mid-Missouri through the St. Louis area from 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 24. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s, with heat index values as high as 105.

Pirate football and Palmyra Panther football can be heard live online at KHMORadio.com throughout the season. Replays of each game will air on KHMO (1070 AM) each Sunday morning.
