Ever Wanted To Go Inside The Hoffman Mansion? Here’s Your Chance

Here's your chance to step inside one of the the area's most beautiful houses (or should I say mansion). The Hoffman Mansion will be opening its doors for candlelight tours in December, and here's what you need to know.

Just up the road in Hamilton, right on the bank of the Mississippi, sits a luxury mansion just waiting for you to take a peek inside. Well, you finally can without, you know, breaking the law. Throughout the month of December, the Hoffman Mansion is offering candlelight tours with all proceeds going to the Keokuk-Hamilton Dam Museum. The dates to tour the mansion are December 9, 12, 13, 16, 19 and 20. There will be several tours each day but times have not been announced yet. Tours are less then an hour, with VIP tours lasting about two hours.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Keokuk Tourism Bureau/Keokuk-Hamilton Dam Museum located at 428 Main in Keokuk. I have always wanted to look in this house and I bet it looks absolutely amazing this time of the year. Plus, you get to look inside the house where Justin Bieber once stayed. So your teenager might have an excuse to get off the couch and go with you.
