The Drive Thru version of the Quincy Farmer's Market is back this week!

The people of Illinois are committed to being creative and finding ways to keep following all of our social distancing guidelines, while also helping to support local during this very tough time for local businesses. The best example of this creativity was last weeks first ever "Drive Thru" version of the Quincy Farmer's Market, and it went so well they have brought it back again this weekend!

The Drive Thru Farmers Market will take place tomorrow (Saturday, May 16th) here in Quincy at the parking lot of the Adams County Health Department, which if you don't know is located at 330 Vermont St. Now they want all customers to try and follow the Map which can be found by clicking here! But in short its as easy as ENTERING through the Vermont Street side, and exiting through the Hampshire side of the Adams County Health Department. The Farmers Market will be going on from 8 am to 1 pm, and they say on their Facebook page...

"Customers will be able to interact with vendors while remaining in vehicles at all times. Market staff and volunteers will direct traffic so vendors can take orders from the drivers side of vehicle."

I think it is fantastic that they are pushing through and continuing to try and help out the locals who want to shop at the market, but also more importantly the local businesses who rely on that income to continue paying their bills. If you can check out the market this Saturday and as always remember to shop and support local!
