Making the decision on where to go to college is an extremely stressful one, you have to consider your major, cost, size, and so many other factors. And even if you find the perfect school how do you know the state the school is in is a perfect fit for you? Well if you find the school that fits you perfectly AND it is in the state of Missouri apparently it's a no brainer, you should go there.

According to the website moneyrates.com Missouri was ranked as the Best State to go to College in. Now there are obviously a lot of factors to judge when deciding what makes a state a great state to go to college in, and the factors that this website used are average cost, retention rate, student to faculty ratio, 6 year graduation rate, and breadth of choice. Combining all those factors they say Missouri is the best state to go to college in, just ahead of Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. The website says this in talking about Missouri...

"While Missouri isn't one of the 10 most populous US states, it ranks in the top 10 for total number of colleges in the state. A wide range of choices gives you more chances of finding the right fit."

Hearing about all of the positives that Missouri has to offer for college students makes me wish I had looked into going to school in Missouri, but as for now I'll just keep working on paying off my student loans from going to school in Illinois.
