Chiefs Take No Chances – Turn to Lucky Charm Missouri Singer
Missouri native and elite National Anthem Vocalist Generald Wilson has been tabbed to sing the Anthem at Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC Championship game Sunday when Kansas City plays Against Buffalo.
Wilson is a retired Navy Petty Officer First Class with a big voice who has performed the anthem for many high profile events over the years including the Chiefs AFC Championship game a couple years ago against Cincinnati. He also sang at the Kansas City Royals World Series appearances in 2014 and 2015.
Kansas City definitely views Wilson’s ability to deliver a soaring National Anthem as a perfect start to get the Chiefs fans roaring at high decibels even before kickoff. Of course there’s the superstitious angle too. Wilson has been the guy to sing in victories in big games in Kansas City.

He has also led the audience in singing the anthem at the Stanley Cup Finals, the NBA Finals, NCAA Final Four Championship games, The Indianapolis 500, and has been part of the National Anthem Tour.
Generald is from Kinloch in the St. Louis area and is his skills are so highly regarded that the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum made an eight inch bobble head of him…(!!!)
