Chicago is Top 5 Most Attractive (and not) American Accents

I miss having my New York accent, I was the girl who talked funny when I moved to the Midwest. A survey taken said Chicago is both the most attractive and most annoying accent.

Chicago and the Midwest accents landed on a few lists from the survey. First, The smartest sounds American Accents, the Midwest landed at number two on the list right after New York. Which I think is a good call, there is just something out that NY accent.

I find it odd that Chicago would make the most trustworthy accent while also making the most annoying accent. I guess it could go both ways if you think about it. Boston topping the list of most annoying, probably because half the time you can't understand anything that a person from Boston is saying. Especially if they have a thick Boston accent.

When I traveled to Wisconsin and Minnesota understanding some of the people there was a bit difficult, you really had to listen to what they were saying. I am sure they were probably saying the same thing about me.
