Check Out The Aerial View of The Exchange Club’s ‘Field of Honor’
If you have not had the opportunity to drive or stop by the Exchange Club's "Field of Honor" your time is running out. The field, which was set up last Friday at 16th and Broadway (the old St. Mary Hospital lot), will be coming down this afternoon (Monday, September 14) around 2 p.m. Why not stop by during your lunch hour?
It is designed to honor our veterans and those who lost their lives during 9-11. It is free to walk thru, you can take pictures or just stop by and remember those lost lives and those who have given us all the freedoms we have and are coveted by some many in the world. So enjoy the last hours of this year's display compliments of the Quincy Exchange Club.
By the way, you can have one of those 1,000 flags placed in your yard on Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day and Labor Day simply by signing up at www.Q-Flags.com. The "Flags of Honor" fundraising cost is just $30 for all 4 days. The Q.H.S. Blue Devil Football Team will also receive a portion of the monies raised as well as they will place the flag in your yard in the morning and take it down in the evening on all four days.
A special thanks goes to Bob Shafer who was kind enough to video an aerial view of the 2020 Field of Honor and allow us to use it. Enjoy this patriotic view by clicking this link.
