There will be no post-season berths at stake, but the Hannibal Cavemen and Quincy Gems will square off at QU Stadium to close out the 2015 Prospect League season Thursday, playing for pride and continuing the "Battle for the Paddle."

The Cavemen and Gems were rained out at Clemens Field Wednesday night, so they'll play a doubleheader Thursday, with game one starting at 4:35 p.m. There will be a live webcast on khmoradio.com. You can listen by clicking here.

This season has not lived up to expectations for either club.

Quincy won the Prospect League championship in 2014, but go into the final games of the season with a second half record of 15-17, seven-and-a-half games behind Terre Haute in the West Division. Overall, the Gems are 26-32, just ahead of the Cavemen.

Hannibal enters Thursday's action at 8-22 for the second half and 15-39 overall.
