Missouri Hotel Recognized for It’s Outstanding Room Service

I've never been the one to use any room service when staying in a hotel, but I might have to start.

Mashed just released their 14 Hotels with the Best Room Service Food in the U.S. and one Missouri hotel made the list. Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale offers some of the best foods in the Ozark Area.

For example, the Ozark Picnic Basket comes with ingredients that would make fried chicken, home-style potato salad, cornbread, baked beans, cornbread, and peach cobbler. There are a variety of baskets to choose from at different points: The most expensive is the Mixed Grill Family Basket, which includes 28-day aged filet, pork chops, salmon or all-natural chicken breast, and more for $58 per guest.

It's not cheap, but from what I've been reading the food tastes amazing and is worth every penny. If you can afford a pricey meal, I would stay in and try their food. However, I don't know about you, but when we travel we love to try new restaurants and local places so I'm pretty sure that's a big reason why we don't do room service when we stay at hotels.

I have not yet stayed at Big Ridge, but it's one of those places that's on my bucket list to visit.
