Bar S Recalls Franks and Corn Dogs

Bar S is a favorite hot dog around the Brodie household because it's cheap, and ready to eat. Fortunately, I've been on a fish kick the past week, to slim down a bit before I head to my cousin's wedding, or I would have purchased one of the items up for recall over listeria concerns.

According to a press release by the USDA, the Oklahoma based meat processor has recalled almost 400,000 pounds of chicken and pork franks and corn dogs due to possible listeria. Listeria can cause muscle aches and fever, with pregnant women, immunocompromised persons, and elderly people the most susceptible to listeria.
