Annual St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run/Walk Registration is Open

Wear your green and your running shoes as the annual Kelly's Fun Run/Walk is coming next month.

It's been a Quincy tradition for over 30 years and it's back once again this year: the Annual St. Patrick's Day Fun Run/Walk sponsored by Kelly's Restaurant and the Quincy Family YMCA. The race will happen on March 10 and registration is going on now.

The registration fee is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the race. You can register online, pick up a registration form at Kelly’s Tavern, or the YMCA located at 3101 Maine Street. The race starts at 9:15 at Kelly’s Tavern on Broadway.

All ages are invited to attend and even strollers are permitted. This is a family race to promote health, laughter and fun. People would laugh at me if they saw me run (though I used to be one heck of a runner back in the day). I might even participate in this and bring the girls along with me.

All of the proceeds of the event go to fund the Dolphin Swim Team at the YMCA. The race is sponsored by Kelly’s Tavern, Rinella Company, Tower Pizza & Mexican, Gem City Pizzeria & Mexican and The Abbey.
