Alzheimer’s Association Delivering Food to Workplaces

The Central Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will be delivering hot and tasty sandwiches right to peoples' workplaces on Friday, August 2.

The chapter is teaming with The Butcher Block and Reed Promotional Media to host a cookout from 11am until 2pm that day at 819 Maine Street in Quincy with proceeds benefiting the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

The menu will feature bacon cheddar burgers, pork chop sandwiches, pulled bbq pork, beer cheddar brats, ribeye sandwiches, hot dogs and polish sausage. Potato chips, soda and bottled water will also be available. Prices will range from $3 to $7.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's will be held Thursday, September 5 at Clat Adams Park in Quincy. It's the nations largest activity to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
