Alexa’s Latest Policy Update Will Impact Missouri Users
Are you llike me in that you use an Alexa everyday? Whether its playing music, making a shopping list, or setting a timer, Alexa devices are used daily in my house. A majoy change just took place that if you are an Alexa user like myself you need to be aware of.
It's scary sometimes how much technology affects our daily lives, and where technology is going. Self-driving cars, robot vacuums, and AI devices. Amazon's biggest AI devices, Alexa & Echo, just went through a major policy change.
Policy Change for Alxea Devices
In the new policy, which started on March 28th, all Alexa users will no longer be able to set a “Do Not Send Voice Recordings” functionality. This is being removed to ensure the new Alexa+ is running as smoothly and securely as possible.
From March 28 this year, users now have the choice to grant Amazon access to all of the recordings or stop using Alexa on the best Amazon Echo models completely.

According to Trusted Reviews, these changes are in place to better serve the AI features that rely on the processing power of Amazon's secure cloud.
What wait?
I am not a tech giant, and to be honest, I didn't even know that there was an option for you to have a record option on Alexa devices. Maybe that's a good thing.
Supposedley, an email was sent out to all Alexa users of the upcoming changes a month prior to the change. I never saw it maybe it went to junk mail. Eiother way I will still use my Alexa for timers, music, and recipes.
