Adams County Health Department Plans Additional Vaccine Clinics

The Adams County Health Department announced today that they will be extending the COVID-19 Vaccine Walk-in Clinics.

Besides Adams County, dates for Brown, Hancock, Pike or Schuyler counties in Illinois have been added for opportunities to receive a vaccine without an appointment. No registration is required, all you have to do is show up. The Pfizer vaccine will be distributed at all clinics, as the ACHD waits to here from the CDC about the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. You will have to make a date to return to get your second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Thursday April 22 (Return May 13)

Friday, April 23 (Return May 14)

The mass vaccination site located at the Oakley-Lindsay Center will no longer offer offer first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine after April 24. Individuals wishing to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment beginning April 26th, may do so through the Adams County Health Department’s outreach events, by calling the Health Department at 217-222-8440 and scheduling a vaccine appointment, or by contacting their established medical office.
