5 Events To Check Out This Weekend

This is the 5th year for Oktoberfest which will be held down on York St. between 9th & 10th, from noon til 10 PM. Take a tour of Dick's Brothers Brewery and bring the kids as there will be PLENTY of activities for them as well! Click here for more details.
Quincy Library Book Sale
I'll definitely be stopping by the Quincy Public Library to pick up a few gifts for the holiday season. Hours of the sale are Friday & Saturday from 10 AM - 4:30 PM and there will be half priced books and other specials on Saturday. All proceeds benefit the Quincy Public Library. The Tribute Quartet
Enjoy the sounds of Nashville's Tribute Quartet. They will be performing Saturday night at the Madison Park Church at 4700 Broadway in Quincy and start at 7 PM. This is a free concert and everyone is encourage to attend. A free will offering will take place.
The JDRF Walk/Run/Ride
Held at Upper Moorman Park, this Saturday morning race benefits diabetes research. The event begins at 9 AM with registration at 8. There will be a 10 and 15 mile bike ride, a 5K, and 1 hour walk/run at a cost of $15 per person. Click here for more information.
Woodland Cemetery Tours
Each Saturday in October and on Halloween enhoy a haunted cemetery tour hosted by the Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County. Tickets can be purchased on line at hsqac.org or the night of the tour.
