The 46th annual Barry Apple Festival was held Thursday, October 1 through Sunday, October 4 in Barry, Illinois. The Barry Apple Festival is one of the region's most popular fall traditions, drawing thousands of visitors to the small Pike County community.

The theme of the 2015 Barry Apple Festival was a "Salute to Old Hollywood." The festival kicked off on Thursday with the apple pie contest, and Barry's Got Talent. Craft and food vendors opened their displays on Friday, and the pageants were held on Friday evening. Sunny skies and mild temperatures in the mid-60s made for perfect weather on Saturday, where Apple Festival visitors saw the pet show, baby contest, grand parade and live music. Sunday activities included the pancake and sausage breakfast, the always popular car show, chicken dinner and a kiddie tractor pull. A full carnival, crafts and flea market were also a part of the weekend celebration.

The Barry Apple Festival kicks off a busy month of activities for the region. Pike County's Fall Color Drive will take place October 17-18, which is the same weekend as the Country Colorfest in Louisiana, the Autumn Historic Folklife Festival in Hannibal, and the Tin Dusters Fall Color Run in Quincy.
