2014 Mark Twain Lake Rodeo Getting Underway Soon
The 2014 edition of the Mark Twain Lake Rodeo is coming right up Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 3, 4 and 5.
The Queen contest takes place Thursday evening, and Fourth of July fireworks at dusk highlight Friday night. Rodeo action begins each night at 8 p.m. Live music from the band Murphy's Bridge happens every night after the rodeo. Food and beverages will be available.
The rodeo is held at the Warren G. See South Spillway Recreation Area just below Clarence Cannon Dam, located 9 miles north of Perry, MO on Rt. J or 9 miles south of Hwy. 24/36 between Hannibal and Monroe City on Rt. J.
Tickets cost $12 in advance and will be $15 at the gate. Children six and under get in free. Tickets can be purchased at these outlets...
