You’ve Gotta See This 1991 Video of Quincy’s Gus Macker

I’m loving everything about this '90s Gus Macker hoops throwback video. The dunks! The soundtrack! The hi-top fades and pencil staches! You hear me? EVERYTHING!

The folks over at the Quincy Exchange Club blessed us with this four-minute, nostalgia-driven homage to Q-Town summer streetball on Tuesday and quite frankly, I can’t get enough of it.

(Big shoutout to the guy at 0:46 lacing up those sweet Reebok Pumps, by the way.)

Looks like even in its inaugural year in 1991, the Gus Macker Tourney drew some pretty nice-sized crowds to downtown Quincy. Some things never change...unlike Reebok Pumps.
