Arts Quincy, the Arts Center, and the Illinois Veterans Home have partnered for an upcoming Made In America: Veterans Art Show at the Illinois Veterans home. They're inviting all local artists, both civilians and veterans, to submit their artwork to be on display throughout November.

If you participated in any of the Made In America arts programs throughout this past year and made pieces in watercolor, clay or printmaking, you can submit your entries for free. The show is also open to any military serviceman or woman, past or present, or civilians who have done a patriotic work. The art can be in any medium, from oils, to water colors, to clay to metal sculpture. Show them what you've got.

If your piece is for sale, you can even include a price point when you drop off the art at the Arts Quincy office in the Oakley Lindsay Center. Entries must be dropped off by Friday, November 2nd.

The art will be on display at the Illinois Veterans Home throughout the entire month of November. All participants will receive an award, with a cash prize for the piece named Best In Show.
