When America’s Largest Flag Memorial Flew Proudly in St. Louis
I don't think I've ever seen more American flags fly as they did in St. Louis, Missouri in Forest Park just one year ago. There's now video to remember exactly how staggering that sight was and also news that it will happen again.
In case you're not familiar, Flags of Valor in St. Louis is an organization that's devoted to making sure those that have lost their lives in service to this country since 9/11/01 are never forgotten. Every flag represents those souls that paid the ultimate price and the sight is jaw-dropping.
According to the video description, this video was captured last May and there was an event last 9/11. The word according to the official Flags of Valor website is this will happen every 5 years which means the next event will be in 2026.
Their charitable efforts are also far-reaching as they shared this number on their site:
Since inception, the foundation has donated more than $500,000 to various Military Charities, including The Semper Fi & America’s Fund, Missouri Military Memorial Foundation, Greater St. Louis Honor Flight and Patriot Training Foundation.
That's an impressive way to make a difference in the lives of those that have served and their families. It's not just military either as they also support local law enforcement causes.
