In digging down the rabbit hole of the best undiscovered underrated restaurants in Missouri, there are some that I have put on my bucket list to try someday.

Farmhaus - St. Louis

They are dedicated to bringing the farm to your table. The restaurant works with local farmers and uses the freshest ingredients to make their food stand out. Their menu changes daily, so make sure before you go you check to see what's on the menu.

Blue Koi Noodles & Dumplings - Kansas City

This restaurant has quickly become a fan favorite in KC. Known for their atmosphere, especially drink and of course food there is a dish for everyone.

Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen - Kansas City and Columbia

The heart of New Orleans in the Midwest. Famous for their Cajun and Creole dishes, live jazz music, and vibrant ambiance. It's a hidden gem in the Midwest.

Pappo's Pizzeria & Pub - Springfield

Man, I miss Pappo's. Family-friendly with pizza, subs, and salads. They also have a large selection of craft beers from local Missouri breweries and beyond. If you go try their hand-tossed pizza, I see it's their best item on the menu.

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
