This Company Wants You To Ditch Your Phone In 2019 For $100,000

Chalk this up to societal norms for my generation or whatever, but I love my cell phone and I LOVE being social pretty much 24/7. My head is constantly in my phone whether it's for work, social media, gaming, or whatever else. So when I saw what one company is offering their customers in 2019, I really wondered if I could do it. VitaminWater is putting up $100,000 if you can go one full year without your cell phone.

That's 365 days. 8,760 hours. 525,600 minutes. No phone. Would you do it for $100,000? Vitaminwater wants to put you to the test.

You can still have a phone to make calls and text, but that's it. There is no social media, no games, nothing. Just a simple, plain phone to call and text on. At the end of the year, the company will administer a lie detector test, and if you pass you get the $100,000. If you don't...

I don't think I could. I am so in need of my phone (as many of you are) for work and personal use that I just don't think i could do it. I need to be in the know of what's going on in the world and I've become pretty attached to my phone over the last decade or so.
