The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile is In Quincy!
You think it’s hard driving through Quincy in your car during this ice storm? Try doing it in a 27-foot motorized hot dog.
That’s right. The legendary Oscar Mayer Weinermobile was at Quincy’s 24th & Spring Street County Market this morning from 11:00 to 1:00 pm. And if you missed it, you can swing by the County Market on 48th Street on Sunday, January 15 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Weinermobile has been an American icon since its inception in 1936 and there are currently eight active Weinermobiles in existence.
Remember, we are still under a winter weather advisory and the roads—as of this writing—are still very bad. If you do plan to head out to see the Weinermobile or for any other reason, please be safe.
