According to his biography, Beck is, "a leading American media personality, political commentator, author and founder of TheBlaze, a multiplatform news and entertainment network available on television, radio and the internet."

A native of Washington state, Beck has been in radio since 2001 and a nationally syndicated talk show host since 2004. His show is the third highest rated radio show in the country. Incidentally, number one is Sean Hannity, who will now follow Glenn Beck weekdays on KHMO.

But, Beck's notoriety is not confined to talk radio. He has been a staple on television, first on CNN, then on Fox News and now on his own network TheBlaze. He has written 13 number one bestselling books, including works of fiction, non-fiction, self-help and children's picture books.

A year ago, Glenn Beck was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame.

Again, quoting from his bio sheet, Beck's, "connection with his audience is singular in today's media landscape."

The Glenn Beck Program will be heard on NewsTalk 1070 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a "Best Of Glenn Beck" program from Noon to 3 p.m. Sundays.
