Canada's Chris Buck Band are premiering the music video for their new song "Holy Ground" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch.

Buck and company headed to his aunt and uncle's property in Tiny, Ontario -- located north of Toronto on Georgian Bay -- to film their "Holy Ground" music video, to celebrate the area where he first put down roots. "On that long and winding old dirt road / Like we're runnin' around on some streets of gold," Buck sings in the song's chorus. "And on Sunday mornin', we gather 'round / it was more than dirt, it was our holy ground."

As those lyrics might indicate, "Holy Ground" is a particularly nostalgic track for Buck, who says that it's the song he's written that's most true to his own experience. "I feel everyone can relate to that one special place they grew up at or spent time at growing up that makes them feel alive," Buck tells The Boot. "The memories they created can stick with you for a lifetime.

"And that’s why I wrote this song about my family’s property," he adds, "as every time I go back, I instantly feel peace there and reflect on those memories."

Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2017, the Chris Buck Band have found both huge audiences and major acclaim in Canada's thriving country music scene. They're CCMA Awards nominees and earned a Top 20 hit on the Canadian country music charts with their song "That's When You Know," which features Kira Isabella.

"Holy Ground" appears on the Chris Buck Band's 2018 album All In. Visit ChrisBuckBand.com to learn more.
