This weekend, I turn another year older. You notice that I didn't say "celebrate."

I have to admit, that I am not aging gracefully. This getting older thing isn't all that it's cracked up to be.  Speaking of cracked, I think I just heard my knee do that.

I could go on about negative things that happen as you grow older, but, I'm not allowed that much space to type out my article.

I included the photo of Betty White in this article because she 's still going strong, on top of being very cool.  She gives me inspiration, that given the opportunity to still have a radio station microphone available to me at her age, I can still have fun and get the job done. So, keep up the good fight Betty!

In all seriousness, as I am lucky enough to turn another year older, I am reminded about what is really important in this life.  The love (and frustration at times) of family and friends. I'd be a much poorer person without their love and support. My faith, which continues to change and grow with me, as I continue change and grow a bit older.  I'm glad that I still have a job to complete everyday and all of the wonderful opportunities and good people (like you reading this) that it has brought my way.

Are there days I wish that I could step in the "time machine" and go back 20 years? Absolutely. But all in all, things are pretty good.

And for that, I'm thankful.
